Last weekend Paulina Rubio launched her “Gran City Pop” tour with two sold out shows in Primm, Nevada and House of Blues in San Diego. For the next three months, the tour will bring her music to the US, Latin America and the Caribbean.
“Gran City Pop” tour will bring audiences closer to the world of Rubio’s latest album of the same title. After launching back in the month of June, “Grand City Pop,” the ninth solo album of the Mexican singer, climbed to #1 of the Billboard Hot Latin tracks chart with the first single “Causa y Efecto” and garnered a lot of international play on radio with the second single “Ni Rosas Ni Juguetes.”
The song’s video is scheduled to launch soon. Paulina Rubio received five MTV nominations for 09 with this album as well as gold and platinum status.
“Gran City Pop” is her 3rd consecutive album to come out with a #1 single on the Hot Latin tracks chart.
